A Letter from the Director

The Marine Corps Exchange at MCRD San Diego continues to evolve and make changes to improve our support to you. We have opened our new Starbucks across from the Main Exchange mall in Building 10. This is a full service Starbucks and the first, fully licensed Starbucks in the Marine Corps.  We look forward to providing you a latte or mocha or just a quiet place to sit down and relax. 

The Main Exchange’s newest vendor is Bare Escentuals of San Francisco. You may be aware of their Bare Minerals product line from the QVC shopping channel or if you have shopped at Ulta or Sephora. Bare Minerals is a wonderful foundation line and MCRD is the only military exchange in the country offering the full line of products.  We are adding new lines of merchandise in the Ladies department this Spring, including Calvin Klein, Karen Kane, and AK by Anne Klein.  We continue to refine our assortments to provide you a better selection and the best value possible. Our shoe department continues to be one of the last “full service” shoe departments in the Military.  While we would love to provide an even broader assortment, the shoe selection at MCRD is continuing to improve each year.  Look for great selections from Cole Haan, Coach, Clarks, Ecco, and many more top brands. 

We are planning improvements to our Marketplace store this Spring. Look for a new Food Bar with an expanded selection of convenience foods.   We are attempting to provide a broader selection of food and beverages for our Marines and visitors. 

Our Electronics Department has been joined by an expanded Uniform Department on the second floor of our Annex building across from the Main Exchange. The Marine Corps Store continues to do booming business in USMC logo merchandise.

The Home Store offers a wonderful, diverse product assortment in many categories, including Housewares, Gifts, Electric Appliances, Major Appliances, Sporting Goods, Pet Supplies, Furniture, Hardware, Paint, Garden and Plants.  If you haven’t visited our Home Store recently, please come and explore.

In the opposite end of the building housing Starbucks, our Package Store called The Cellar offers a wonderful selection of spirits and wine. 

A recent survey of Customer Satisfaction revealed that the Marine Corps Exchange at MCRD San Diego is offering the highest level of customer satisfaction in the Marine Corps.   We are very proud to serve our customers and appreciate you visiting us.
